Hotels have what they call season. the season is the time when the

sea side city of Alexandria in summer, the heat of the sun at that time
in Aswan is unbearable but a city like Sharm El Sheikh the weather is

- Before taking a taxi to your destination, just ask for the local
fare. Taxi drivers have a tendency to charge more if you are not an
Egyptian but you can report the taxi driver to the local police if
he charged you higher fare.
- You can travel between Egyptian cities by train or bus as bus
and train tickets are cheap in Egypt.
